We offer Comfortable rooms of various standards. From our historic “Signature Double Room” to our 3 bed family rooms, or our single rooms there is something for everyone.
A perfect destination for a short break or a longer adventure – winter or summer. The cities of Luzern, Bern and Thun are, for a shopping or culture trip, less than 1 hour travel away. Whether your trip is for pleasure or business we are sure we can accommodate you.
We also have the ideal offer for business clients – our conference and event room is perfect for meetings, work-spaces for focusing, company trainings etc.
Dining in our Restaurant
Even if you’re just passing through this beautiful valley, our restaurant is open for a culinary detour for you.
Where possible we source our products from local suppliers and add our creative twist to Regional products. Offering a mixture of both classical & modern Swiss & International cuisine With seasonal and regional specials throughout the year.
Kitchen open Thursday to Saturday – Midday to 8:30pm
Sunday – 12:00 to 8:00pm
Monday – 5pm to 8:30pm
à la carte Menu all day,
Friday until Sunday we open for coffee from 9:30 am
Coffee, Cake & Desserts in the afternoon

Dear guests,
After three wonderful years here at Gasthof Kreuz in Marbach, it is unfortunately time for us to say goodbye, hand over the keys to ‘Our little castle’ and set off in search of new adventures.
We will always carry the memory of this chapter of our lives in our hearts.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our wonderful guests, who have accompanied us on this journey. We would also like to thank Dorfkern AG for their tireless support and the many businesses here in the village and surrounding area for their fantastic cooperation. Thank you for the wonderful encounters in our ‘little inn’ and for being part of our wonderful time here in Marbach.
Our restaurant and hotel will remain open until 18 October 2025. Take advantage of this last opportunity to visit us here in Marbach. We would be delighted to see you here for our last month in Marbach.
At the same time, we would like to inform you that our inn will not be closed for long.
From the end of November 2025, ‘Beata & Roland’ will be the new tenants here at the Kreuz. And we are very pleased that it will continue almost without interruption.
We wish them all the best and good luck for their opening at the end of November and a successful and wonderful time here in Marbach.
